From the supplier: The Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) has joined the Independent Insurance Agents of America in endorsing the Kassebaum-Kennedy Senate Health Insurance Reform Act. RIMS supported Senate bill 1028 over House bill 3103 because the latter had included Medical Savings Accounts, which some RIMS members felt would not encourage preventative medicine. Members also objected to the sheer number of mandates in the House bill, which some considered unmanageable.
